DAY 1
Arrival to the airport. Transfer to Bari by private transport, accommodation and overnight in hotel.
DAY 2
The day will start with the guided visit of the old town of Bari, along the way you may taste the famous “focaccia bread from Bari” in a local bakery.
Departure to Polignano a mare by private transport. Guided visit of the suggestive old town and handmade ice-cream tasting. Dinner in a restaurant by the sea.
Return to Bari.
DAY 3
this day is dedicated to the specialities of the alta Murgia barese and the nearby Basilicata.
Transfer to Altamura with private means, guided visit of the old town and visit of an old bakery to see the production and baking bread of Altamura, according to the tradition.
You will continue to Matera, city of the UNESCO heritage and famous for its Sassi, guided visit and free time.
Return to Valle d’Itria, check in and overnight in hotel.
DAY 4
In the morning, visit of one of the most important Apulian winery. Visit of the vineyard and lunch with wine tasting. In the afternoon visit of the centuries old olive grove nearby Ostuni based in an old and important farmhouse. Extra virgin olive oil tasting. Visit of Ostuni by ape calessino to discover the most suggestive landscapes of the “White City”.
Return to the hotel.
DAY 5
A day discovering the beauties of Valle d’Itria and walking in the capital of Trulli. Guided visit of Alberobello, city of the UNESCO heritage, with aperitif in a panoramic garden.
Transfer to a local cheese farm, visit to the stables, mozzarella and cheese making with the farmer and lunch tasting.
In the afternoon, a nice walk in the old town of Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful village of Italy Panoramic aperitif with local wine tasting.
Departure to Salento, accommodation in Lecce.
DAY 6
In the morning guided visit of the city of Lecce and its palaces. During the visit, aperitif in an historical palace in the city centre.
In the afternoon visit of Otranto, also known as “the gate of the Est” and “pasticciotto salentino” tasting.
Return to the hotel in Lecce.
DAY 7
A day dedicated to Salento coastline, transfer to Santa Maria di Leuca along the panoramic way nearby the coastline. Visit of Leuca where the Ionio sea meets the Adriatic sea.
In the afternoon, guided visit of Gallipoli and its old underground oil mill. The last Apulian dinner will be in Gallipoli. Return to the hotel in Lecce and overnight in hotel.
DAY 8
Private transfer to the airpost. Flight back.
