Four days to discover two unmissable UNESCO sites: Matera and Alberobello.
DAY 1
Arrival to Matera and accommodation. Visit to the Archeological Park of “Murgia Timone” and visit to the famous Sassi area from the panoramic Belvedere. Stop nearby a rupestrian church and walk among prehistorical human settlements. Return to the city and visit to Museum of rural life “house-cave”. Dinner in a typical restaurant and return to the hotel.
DAY 2
In the morning visit of the medieval area with a stop to the Cathedral. Walk among Sasso Barisano. Departure to Altamura to visit an old bakery with bread-making experience followed by an unmissable tasting. In the afternoon the tour will continue to Alberobello, accommodation in hotel among the trulli. Free time.
DAY 3
Guided visit in the city with its Trulli. Walk among the narrow streets of the old town rich in local craft shops, farmyards discovering the charm and the history of this particular Apulian architecture, unique in the world. Typical products and local wine tasting in a winery. Dinner in a typical restaurant. Return to the hotel.
DAY 4
In the morning, transfer to a nearby local dairy farm, visit and mozzarella cheese making show with final products tasting.
Transfer to the airport and flight back.
